Responsibilities
- Forecast technology, societal, and market trends through 2026 using quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging disruptions (AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-vision strategies
- Produce high-impact trend reports and innovation roadmaps for executive leadership
- Identify partnership opportunities with emerging tech startups and research institutions
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- 8+ years in futurism, strategy consulting, or R&D with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Web3, AR/VR, or synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in recognized industry journals or platforms
