Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2030
- Develop and present strategic foresight frameworks to executive leadership and board members
- Design innovation roadmaps for AI, biotechnology, quantum computing, and climate tech sectors
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with global R&D teams to translate foresight into R&D priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at industry conferences
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Published thought leader in innovation or futurism publications (e.g., HBR, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning, trend analysis, and foresight methodologies
