Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 technology foresight framework, synthesizing global trends, academic research, and market signals
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify and prioritize emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Produce quarterly strategic whitepapers and scenario analyses for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich) for collaborative innovation
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurism forums, including World Economic Summit and Davos
- Mentor a team of futurists and innovation strategists
- Quantify market opportunities and risks using predictive modeling and scenario planning
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership within tech or finance
- Proven track record of successfully commercializing emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Published author in futurism or technology innovation (Harvard Business Review, MIT Press)
- Experience with foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
