Responsibilities
- Forecast and map emerging technological, social, and economic trends for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-proofing strategies
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Harvard Business Review and WIRED
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify disruptive startups
- Design resilience protocols for climate and geopolitical disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and build a future-focused research lab
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, or climate adaptation
- Proficiency in trend-mapping tools (e.g., Trendalyzer, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience with scenario modeling (Monte Carlo, causal layered analysis)
- Deep expertise in at least one emerging domain: quantum AI, neurotech, or circular economy
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects
