Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology foresight frameworks, identifying disruptive trends across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, translating complex future possibilities into actionable business strategies
- Author quarterly horizon reports and publish thought leadership in industry publications
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-generation research initiatives
- Mentor a team of futurist analysts while building an internal innovation scouting network
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and influence multi-year R&D priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology research with proven trend-anticipation track record
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario development frameworks
- Published thought leadership in technology or business futurism (demonstrated by whitepapers, keynotes, or books)
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI-driven trend analysis platforms
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ successful strategic initiatives implemented based on future trend analysis
