Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and societal trends impacting 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks and scenario planning models
- Translate future insights into actionable innovation roadmaps and product development strategies
- Facilitate executive workshops on future readiness and disruptive risk mitigation
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers, keynote presentations, and industry reports
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market opportunities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate strategy and decision-making processes
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation domains
- Experience with strategic foresight tools (e.g., STEEP analysis, Delphi method, cross-impact matrices)
