Responsibilities
- Lead 3-year horizon scanning for disruptive technologies including quantum computing, biotech, and AI ethics
- Develop and publish quarterly innovation trend reports with strategic recommendations
- Design and facilitate future scenario workshops for executive leadership
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and innovation accelerators
- Translate foresight insights into product development roadmaps and investment opportunities
- Mentor junior futurists and cross-functional innovation teams
- Present findings at industry conferences and publish thought leadership pieces
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Proven track record of publishing influential industry trend analyses
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi method, and technology roadmapping
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience leading cross-functional innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Foresight Methodology preferred
