Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies with transformative potential
- Develop scenario-based forecasts for global markets, regulatory landscapes, and consumer behaviors
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members through compelling narratives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to accelerate commercialization of breakthrough innovations
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at global forums
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Integrate AI-driven analytics with human intuition for enhanced foresight accuracy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully predicting technological/societal disruptions
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology roadmapping
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Weak Signal Analysis)
- Experience with AI/ML tools for trend detection and predictive modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating published forecasts that influenced business decisions
