Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems leveraging qubit coherence optimization
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for real-world industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security protocols
- Drive R&D initiatives in topological qubit stabilization and error correction
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to implement quantum solutions
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Science journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with superconducting qubit systems or ion trap architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or topological materials
- Expertise in quantum machine learning algorithms
- Clearance for DOE/NASA quantum research initiatives
- Experience securing $10M+ in quantum computing grants
