Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems targeting 2026 deployment
- Conduct risk assessments for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Lead stakeholder workshops on AI ethics with industry regulators and academic partners
- Design bias mitigation protocols for large-scale generative AI models
- Create transparency standards for explainable AI systems
- Advise product teams on ethical AI integration throughout the development lifecycle
- Produce annual AI ethics impact reports for executive leadership
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years AI ethics experience
- Published research in top-tier AI ethics journals (e.g., ACM FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics Workshop)
- Expertise in implementing EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and IEEE 7000 standards
- Proven track record of auditing complex ML systems for fairness and transparency
- Experience testifying before technology policy committees
- Strong background in moral philosophy frameworks (utilitarianism, deontology, virtue ethics)
- Proficiency in Python for ethical AI auditing tool development
