Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Design scalable, robust, and secure AI systems using microservices and distributed computing principles.
- Model Development: Spearhead the research and implementation of state-of-the-art Large Language Models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning agents.
- Performance Optimization: Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in training pipelines and inference engines to ensure real-time latency.
- Technical Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Strategy & Roadmap: Define the technical roadmap for AI infrastructure, evaluating new technologies and frameworks to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Collaboration: Partner with product managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field from a top-tier institution.
- Experience: 7+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years specifically focused on AI/ML architecture.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX. Deep understanding of distributed training frameworks (Ray, Kubernetes).
- Deep Learning: Extensive knowledge of neural network architectures, transformers, and generative models.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience deploying AI models on AWS, GCP, or Azure using managed services.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
