Responsibilities
- Architect and implement high-performance 2D rendering engines using HTML5 Canvas, SVG, and WebGL.
- Craft complex animations and micro-interactions that enhance user engagement and retention.
- Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers to translate high-fidelity mockups into responsive, pixel-perfect code.
- Optimize rendering performance to ensure smooth 60fps interactions across a variety of devices.
- Maintain and evolve our internal 2D graphics library to support future product features.
- Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers on best practices for 2D web development.
- Debug complex graphical anomalies and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience developing 2D interactive web applications.
- Deep expertise in the Canvas API, SVG manipulation, and modern CSS animations.
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Experience with WebGL or 2D physics libraries (e.g., Matter.js, Pixi.js, or similar).
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, MobX) in the context of complex UIs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
