Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, managing the front desk operations efficiently.
- Answer incoming calls, screen and route them appropriately, and take accurate messages.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating electronic health records (EHR).
- Schedule patient appointments via phone and electronic systems, ensuring optimal clinic utilization.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Assist with basic administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and inventory management.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure a seamless patient experience.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior experience in a medical or dental office is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Receptionist or Front Desk Administrator.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and patience.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
