Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum-classical hybrid architectures supporting 1000+ qubit systems
- Develop quantum algorithm optimization frameworks for industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Create system integration blueprints for quantum acceleration of AI/ML workflows
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum advantage in real-world scenarios
- Document system architectures using quantum-specific modeling tools
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing principles and best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years in systems architecture with 3+ years in quantum technologies
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and frameworks
- Proven track record of designing fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Certification in cloud quantum platforms (AWS Braket, IBM Quantum)
- Prior experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
