Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum hardware architectures for 2026-era quantum processors
- Develop cryogenic control systems and quantum interconnects for multi-qubit coherence
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Optimize quantum error correction protocols for industrial-scale deployment
- Architect quantum network security protocols for enterprise applications
- Collaborate with research teams to prototype quantum algorithms
- Document quantum system specifications and performance benchmarks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in quantum computing or superconducting hardware development
- Expertise in cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields preferred
