Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures with 99.9% reliability
- Develop hybrid classical-quantum algorithms for enterprise-scale optimization
- Implement quantum-safe cryptographic protocols for critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping 2026-era quantum networking systems
- Research and integrate emerging quantum hardware (superconducting, photonic, topological)
- Create architectural blueprints for quantum-cloud convergence platforms
- Establish performance benchmarks for quantum acceleration of classical workloads
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5 years equivalent experience)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant design
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum annealing and gate-based computing models
- Experience with cloud-native infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP quantum services)
- Publication record in quantum information science or related fields
- Security clearance for handling sensitive quantum research data
- Strong background in high-performance distributed systems
