Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-classical hybrid computing systems with sub-millisecond latency requirements
- Design scalable quantum network topologies supporting 100+ qubit coherence
- Develop cryogenic control interfaces for quantum processors operating at 10mK
- Implement quantum-safe encryption protocols across distributed edge networks
- Optimize quantum algorithm execution paths on heterogeneous hardware
- Lead integration of quantum simulators with classical AI training pipelines
- Document quantum system specifications with NIST compliance standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum computing infrastructure or cryogenic systems
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep knowledge of quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proven track record in high-performance distributed systems architecture
- Familiarity with quantum hardware manufacturers (Rigetti, IonQ, IBM)
- Experience with quantum cloud platforms (Amazon Braket, Azure Quantum)
- Published research in quantum communication or quantum machine learning
