Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in finance, logistics, and AI
- Lead experimental quantum computing projects using superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error mitigation techniques to enhance quantum circuit reliability
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international quantum conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional collaboration with AI/ML teams
- Secure research funding through NSF and DoD quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit simulation
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into experimental implementations
- Experience with high-performance computing and parallel processing frameworks
- Security clearance eligibility for government-funded projects
