Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system architectures

- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure external funding through grants and partnerships with DARPA and NSF
- Develop roadmaps for quantum error correction and scalability
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, Cirq)
- Published work in quantum algorithms or quantum hardware
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Proven ability to secure research grants or industry partnerships
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
