Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical applications in optimization, simulation, and AI
- Develop error mitigation protocols for NISQ-era quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Lead quantum computing workshops and mentor junior researchers
- Identify and pursue new research directions in quantum machine learning
- Contribute to open-source quantum computing frameworks and libraries
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum circuit optimization
- Strong programming skills in Python, Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum error correction
