The Opportunity
We seek a Quantum Computing Researcher to develop groundbreaking algorithms and protocols for our next-gen quantum processors. You'll work at the intersection of physics, computer science, and mathematics to solve previously impossible computational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct theoretical and experimental research in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit implementations
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum software development kits (SDKs)
- Publish peer-reviewed research in leading quantum computing journals
- Develop quantum simulation frameworks for near-term quantum devices
- Participate in quantum security protocol development for 2026-era networks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence principles
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with NISQ-era quantum hardware constraints and mitigation strategies
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing conferences or journals
