Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications
- Lead research projects to overcome quantum decoherence and error correction challenges
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to prototype and validate quantum computing systems
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to quantum education initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years quantum computing research
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published work in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills and mathematical modeling abilities
- Track record of securing research funding or industry partnerships
