Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in quantum-cryptography protocol development
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature/Science journals
- Secure $2M+ annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
- mentor PhD candidates in quantum machine learning
- Develop error-correction frameworks for fault-tolerant systems
- Present findings at global quantum summits (Q2B, IEEE Quantum Week)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Q#, Cirq, Qiskit)
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated success securing government research grants
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM, Rigetti, IonQ)
