Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex computational problems
- Lead experimental validation of quantum systems using advanced error correction techniques
- Develop scalable quantum architectures compatible with next-generation hardware
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical systems
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry conferences
- Secure and manage research funding through government and private sector partnerships

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing principles
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact research in quantum computing
- Expertise in at least one quantum hardware platform (superconducting, trapped ions, photonic)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to solve complex multidisciplinary problems
- Experience securing federal research grants or corporate R&D funding
