Responsibilities

- Collaborate with hardware engineers to bridge quantum theory and practical implementation
- Secure $2M+ in annual research grants through innovative project proposals
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information science
- Drive ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment in enterprise environments
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (post-doc experience preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Cirq)
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and topological qubit systems
- Proven track record of securing government or industry research funding
- Strong background in machine learning and classical-quantum hybrid systems
- Excellent communication skills for translating complex concepts to stakeholders
