Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead research on quantum error correction and fault-tolerant computing architectures
- Collaborate with hardware teams to integrate quantum processors with classical systems
- Develop secure quantum communication protocols for next-gen data protection
- Publish high-impact research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE conferences
- Secure $1M+ in government and industry grants for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven expertise in quantum information theory and many-body systems
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures or photonic quantum systems
- Ability to secure federal research grants (NSF/DoE)
