Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate quantum solutions into hybrid architectures
- Develop proprietary quantum simulation frameworks for drug discovery and materials science
- Secure patents and publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor PhD researchers and guide quantum hardware integration projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum information science or related fields
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms
- Experience with cloud quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket)
- Strong background in machine learning and classical computing paradigms
