What you'll achieve: Design fault-tolerant quantum circuits, optimize error correction protocols, and publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics. Your work will directly impact cryptography, drug discovery, and climate modeling simulations.
Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for NP-hard optimization problems
- Simulate quantum systems using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement quantum-classical hybrid models
- Secure $2M+ in DARPA/NASA research grants
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum information theory
- Author 3+ peer-reviewed publications annually
- Prototype quantum-resistant encryption protocols
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics/Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years hands-on quantum circuit design
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Q#, or Cirq
- Published research in Physical Review X or IEEE Transactions
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes
- Experience with superconducting qubit architectures
- Clearance for DoD quantum security projects
- Portfolio of implemented quantum algorithms
