Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum hardware prototypes and error-correction protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum solutions
- Publish research in leading peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Contribute to patent development for proprietary quantum computing methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and drive innovation in quantum software ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years research experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit) and classical simulation tools
- Demonstrated expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Experience with cloud-based quantum platforms (IBM Quantum, Amazon Braket, Microsoft Azure)
- Ability to communicate complex quantum concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Passion for ethical quantum technology development and deployment
