Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead research initiatives in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams to prototype quantum hardware-software interfaces
- Publish findings in leading scientific journals and present at industry conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and drive cross-functional innovation workshops
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing integration into existing tech ecosystems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Strong publication record in quantum computing or high-performance computing
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- US citizenship or permanent residency required for facility access
