Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptographic security protocols
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum machine learning frameworks
- Publish peer-reviewed research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, IEEE)
- Secure $5M+ in government/industry research grants annually
- Prototype quantum-resistant cybersecurity solutions for Fortune 500 clients
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers
- Present findings at global quantum computing summits (Q2C, QCE)
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum computing platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, D-Wave)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum cryptography or quantum machine learning
- Expertise in error correction and fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Experience securing DoD or NSF research grants preferred
