Responsibilities
- Design and execute quantum algorithm experiments on our D-Wave and IBM quantum systems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques to achieve quantum advantage
- Collaborate with machine learning teams to integrate quantum processors into neural networks
- Lead research initiatives in quantum cryptography and secure communications
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at quantum computing conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to our open-source quantum toolkit
- Partner with industry leaders to develop real-world quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent research experience)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement, superposition, and decoherence principles
- Proven track record of publishing in Nature/Science or top-tier quantum journals
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and low-temperature electronics
- Strong Python/C++ programming skills with scientific computing libraries
