Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop novel error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum hardware interfaces
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Collaborate with industry partners on quantum cloud integration
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or condensed matter physics
- Expertise in linear algebra and complex probability distributions
- Proficiency in Python and high-performance computing frameworks
- Experience with quantum simulation software (QASM, Quil)
- Strong background in cryptography or machine learning
