Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum protocols on superconducting and photonic systems
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional engineering teams
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from NSF and DARPA
- Develop quantum-resistant cybersecurity frameworks for Fortune 500 clients
- Present breakthrough findings at global quantum summits (Q2B, etc.)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Engineering with 3+ years postdoc experience
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum entanglement and decoherence principles
- Track record of securing federal research grants (NSF, NIH, DOE)
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware (D-Wave, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
