Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for scalable quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and materials science teams
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Secure $1M+ in research grants through NSF and DARPA proposals
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Drive commercialization of quantum applications in finance and logistics
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years hands-on quantum programming experience
- Published research in quantum information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency with quantum simulators (QASM, Quil)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Experience with high-performance computing architectures
- Track record of securing government research grants
