Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Lead quantum machine learning model development and validation
- Publish research in IEEE, Nature, and other peer-reviewed journals
- Develop secure quantum encryption protocols for 2026-era applications
- Mentor junior researchers and cross-functional teams
- Secure research grants and partnerships with academic institutions
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum computing or related fields
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and information theory
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Q, Rigetti, etc.)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
