Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing quantum-resistant encryption protocols
- Conduct experimental research on quantum error correction techniques
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent portfolios
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum system architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience with Qiskit or Q#
- Publication record in quantum computing or theoretical physics
- Expertise in linear algebra, complex analysis, and information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical solutions
