Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for complex optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead prototyping of superconducting qubit systems with error correction protocols
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks for predictive modeling
- Collaborate with hardware teams to improve qubit coherence times beyond 10ms
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory and experimental physics
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (postdoc preferred)
- 3+ years hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Publication record in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Familiarity with cryogenic quantum hardware systems (Dilution refrigerators)
- Strong background in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Experience with high-performance computing clusters for quantum simulations
