Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and cryptography applications
- Develop quantum error-correction codes to enhance qubit stability and fidelity
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical implementations
- Lead research projects in quantum machine learning and quantum neural networks
- Publish findings in Nature Physics/Quantum and present at IEEE Quantum Week
- Partner with industry clients to develop quantum solutions for complex business challenges
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing experience with Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#
- Deep understanding of quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, VQE) and quantum information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing frameworks
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (superconducting, trapped ion, photonic)
- Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
