Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum error correction and qubit coherence techniques
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum software interfaces and SDKs
- Publish peer-reviewed research and present findings at international conferences
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum solutions with classical computing systems
- Develop roadmaps for quantum computing applications targeting 2026 commercialization
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum computing specialization
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum simulation
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and complex analysis
- Demonstrated publication record in quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business applications
