Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead research in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions with classical AI systems
- Develop quantum software frameworks and simulation tools for experimental validation
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present findings at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development in quantum technologies
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware developments and industry standards
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of quantum computing research experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and quantum circuit design
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and complex mathematical modeling
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact quantum computing research
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum simulation frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
