Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Develop error-correction protocols to enhance quantum coherence and computational fidelity
- Lead experimental research on superconducting and photonic quantum computing platforms
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design next-generation quantum processors
- Translate theoretical models into practical implementations using quantum programming frameworks
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to patent development for novel quantum techniques
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related quantum-focused discipline
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum computing research experience with published papers
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and simulation tools
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and information theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and high-performance computing environments
- Experience with cryogenic systems and quantum control electronics
- Strong track record of translating theoretical concepts into practical applications
