- Develop error-correction protocols to achieve fault-tolerant quantum computation
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into scalable quantum architectures
- Secure $5M+ in research grants and partnerships with quantum computing leaders
- Mentor PhD candidates and junior researchers in quantum information science
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 3+ years of research experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (Shor's, Grover's, QAOA) and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Published record in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) on quantum information theory
- Proficiency with quantum simulators (Qiskit Aer, Cirq) and experimental quantum hardware
- Experience with high-performance computing frameworks for quantum-classical hybrid systems
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
