Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to translate theoretical models into practical quantum circuits
- Lead research projects in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at major conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for quantum innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum programming and experimental design
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or Quantum Information Science
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum programming experience (Qiskit, Cirq, or Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Proficiency in Python/C++ with scientific computing libraries
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to secure competitive research funding
