Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for cryptography optimization and machine learning acceleration
- Develop error-correction protocols for 1,000+ qubit systems using topological quantum computing
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum hardware integration
- Author peer-reviewed publications for Nature Physics and IEEE Quantum Journal
- Collaborate with government agencies on post-quantum cryptography standards
- Optimize quantum neural networks for real-time data processing in financial modeling
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computational Physics, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum error correction or topological quantum computing
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or proprietary quantum programming frameworks
- Expertise in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum annealing systems (D-Wave Advantage or equivalent)
- Security clearance eligibility for government-contracted projects
