Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum algorithms for cryptography, optimization, and machine learning applications

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantum solutions into enterprise frameworks
- Publish research in peer-reviewed journals and present at international conferences
- Secure research grants and patents for proprietary quantum methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Stay current with emerging quantum standards and regulatory frameworks
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years post-graduate research
- Published work in quantum algorithm development or error correction techniques
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq) and simulation frameworks
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or superconducting qubits
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Demonstrated ability to secure NSF or DOE research funding
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical audiences
