Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Lead hardware-software co-design initiatives for quantum error correction
- Publish breakthrough research in peer-reviewed journals and industry whitepapers
- Mentor a team of quantum engineers and interdisciplinary researchers
- Develop patentable quantum computing architectures targeting 2026 commercialization
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to solve real-world quantum challenges
- Present findings at premier quantum computing conferences and summits
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 5+ years of quantum computing research experience with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum algorithms, error correction, or quantum hardware design
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Experience with cryogenic systems or quantum control electronics preferred
- Track record of translating theoretical research into practical applications
- Published work in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
