Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, simulation, and machine learning applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum error correction protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize quantum circuit designs for real-world deployment
- Author peer-reviewed publications and present findings at top-tier conferences
- Develop quantum software frameworks compatible with major quantum computing platforms
- Identify and pursue breakthrough research opportunities in quantum advantage domains

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics principles and quantum information theory
- Proven track record of publishing in quantum computing or physics journals
- Expertise in algorithm design and complexity analysis for quantum systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
- Strong mathematical background with emphasis in linear algebra and probability theory
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to tackle open-ended research challenges
