Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead experimental validation of quantum supremacy claims using 100+ qubit systems
- Publish findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, PRL) and present at major conferences
- Mentor PhD candidates and postdocs in quantum information theory
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum processor architectures
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published peer-reviewed research in quantum computing or information theory
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance techniques
- Proficiency in high-performance computing environments (HPC, cloud quantum simulators)
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and computational complexity
- Track record of translating theoretical concepts into experimental prototypes
