Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for NISQ-era processors
- Lead error mitigation protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Publish groundbreaking research in Nature/Science journals
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit coherence optimization
- Develop quantum machine learning frameworks for enterprise applications
- Mentor PhD researchers and patent proprietary quantum methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Published research in quantum information science
- Proficiency in linear algebra, complex analysis, and probability theory
- Experience with superconducting or ion-trap quantum systems
- Strong track record of cross-disciplinary collaboration
